One would call “Dover Beach” as a nature poem as it evokes beautiful images of nature. The White Cliffs of Dover is beautifully portrayed in the poem with “the tide is full, the moon lies fair.” The poet also uses nature as a metaphor to evoke human sadness and misery and laments the loss of faith.
