The poet learn that the people have settled along the rivers because they needed water as well as land for existence. This led to the establishment of cities in an unorganised way. He also found that there are vast oceans and land is very less as compared to them.
In the end, he fails to learn why there are border, why people hate each other and why there is no peace.
