In the poem Geography Lesson, the poet tells us how the earth looks from height. According to him he found that people have settled in an unorganised way. He provides with the reason why it is so.
According to him the land and the water are the most important parts of humans. Hence they preferred living at a place where both are available. This led to the establishment of civilisations near the water bodies.
Finally he expresses his pain by seeing the people divided by borders and their hatred against each other.
