There are many images used in the poem The Voice of the Rain which we will discuss as follows:

      1. Voice of the Rain: The very title of the poem contains an image i.e. voice. The word voice is normally associated with humans. However in the poem voice depicts the sound produced by the falling rain droplets. So, the poet imagines as if the rain is singing.
      2. Soft-falling Shower: It refers to the rain droplets which are falling gently and smoothly. The make very little sound which seems to be a song to the poet.
      3. Poem of the Earth: Poet imagines rain as the poem of earth because it showers gently making very pleasant sound. It seems to the poet as if the rain is singing.
      4. Heaven: Heaven here means sky.
