The phrase has been taken from the poem The Rose That Grew From Concrete written by Tupac Shakur who was a famous rapper as well as an actor of US popularly known as “2pac“. It is an inspirational verse in which the poet gives example of a rose plant which grew from a crack in a concrete floor/wall.
According to the poet, it is quite difficult to achieve one’s dream like the rose flower. It seems to be impossible according to the nature of law (which symbolically probably means the common belief), but focus, consistency and struggle ultimately leads to success.
