The fisherman and the man gathering salt symbolise human beings busy for earning bread and butter. On one hand, we have fisherman who is killing the animals for the sake of money and on the other hand, we have man gathering salt who is hurting his hands for the sake of money. In both the cases they are not in peace.
They both symbolise to the earning of money though fisherman is killing whales for their bread and butter and on the other hand the man who is gathering the salt while hurting their hand their main objective is earning money.
