What is the main conflict in the speaker’s mind in Birches by Robert Frost?

1 Answer

  1. The main conflict is whether to go away from the earth and the constraints of living and dealing with its boring chores or to stay here. The poet decides that one cant get away for always so one can only go away for a while like while swinging in the birches and then again come back to the ground and become practical.
