In the poem What If, the poet talks about the struggles of young children. Often they associate imaginary things with their real lives. These negative things always come up in their minds during the night time. The poet indirectly suggests the readers to counsel the children and help them build strong will-power and confidence in themselves so that they may be able to get rid of such thoughts.
