Repetition: The use of the same word or phrase multiple times. For example the repetition of the word “all”.
Metaphor: A common poetic device where an object in, or the subject of, a poem is described as being the same as another otherwise unrelated object. For example, “glowing colours”
Personification: A poetic device where animals, plants, or even inanimate objects, are given human qualities. For example, “the river running by”, “each little birds that sings”.
