The title of the poem “Wind” is symbolic and carries a deep and profound meaning. In the beginning, the poet is asking the wind to not ruin everything. However in stanza, we find that wind represents the problems and challenges which we face in our life.
It (problems and challenges) is harsh on those who are weak and fragile but it makes one strong and successful who has firm determination and will power. This is why the poet says that it blows out weak fires and makes strong fires roar and flourish.
In other words, the problems which we face in life make us strong, experienced and finally lead to success. But we need to be brave and courageous enough to face them.
