    By anthropomorphizing the dolphins, the poet wants to show us the miserable plight of animals. Animals are meant to live and thrive on nature. They deserve their freedom and the right to live amidst nature. By capturing them and forcing them into enslavement is inhuman. We should respect and protect nature and the animals living amidst them and not inflict out cruelty on them.
