It is reason behind fast melting of glaciers which will result in rise in sea level which will result in submergence f low lying areas. It has changed the precipitation and seasonal pattern of the globe. There is increased scarcity of water on earth due to droughts and shrinking water resources. Global warming is affecting the livelihood of many people. In this way, it is one of the major threats to the humanity.
