The major thematic concerns of the poem are
A) Choices- When the narrator is standing before that two roads diverging in the wood, it was the choice which he had to make. How making a choice is inevitable in life is the major theme here.
B) Individualism. When the narrator notices that the two roads look almost similar, he chose the one less travelled. The difference which it brings is the result of the individual choice which one makes so the concern is against conformity.
C)Regret. It also deals with the fact that some people regret every choice they make only wonder that how the other choice could have brought a different result.
