In the poem, Where the Mind is Without Fear, the poet prays for a perfect country which is guided by rational minds and is free of all types of social ills. The “heaven of freedom” means Independent India in which people are united and not divided into castes, religions, languages etc.
In this “heaven of freedom”, knowledge is free and all the people speak the truth. Nobody believes in superstitions and blind faiths. And the people are guided by Almighty in the direction of prosperity and success.
