The line “May His Tribe Increase” simply means that there should be more people like Abou Ben Adhem who may love other humans and spread love, fraternity and brotherhood in the world.

“May His Tribe Increase” appears in the first line of the poem Abou Ben Adhem by James Henry Leigh Hunt along with the name of Abou Ben Adhem (Ibrahim Ibn-e-Adam) who is a Persian saint of Islam. As per the Arabic folklore, his name got into the list of God-lovers because of his love for mankind.
