Mother India is both proud and sorrowful at the death of her offsprings. She is proud because her brave sons went on the foreign lands to fight the enemy without thinking about their own lives. They sacrificed their precious lives for the sake of their country. This courage of theirs make Mother India proud.
At the same time, Mother India is sorrowful because she cannot bear the pain of separation from her sons. She weeps because they are buried in foreign lands.
