What is the central idea of the poem Song of the Rain?

1 Answer

  1. The poem’s main theme is to portray certain things like the rain serving as a messenger of compassion. Rain quenches the thirsty earth’s hunger while also reducing cloud heaviness and swelling. Thunder precedes rain, which is followed by a rainbow. Rain is formed when the ground and water are heated and water rises as vapour to the sky, much as life is created by the combination of the five elements- air, earth, fire, water, and wind.
