The poet uses different colours of the bangles to depict the various stages of a woman’s life. The poet says that blue and silver or pink bangles denotes to the life of a virgin maiden which has just started, the red and orange bangles shows the desires of happiness and love in a married woman’s life and purple and golden bangles imply the love and affection a middle-aged woman has for her family.
