The poet describes the nature of a rebel in the poem The Rebel. According to him, a rebel always do opposite of what others do. e.g. when others have long hair, he cuts his hair short but when others have short hair, he grows them. Similarly, when others remain silent, he makes noise but when others make noise, he remains silent.
Thus he loves to remain unique and different. According to the poet rebels are important part of our society. However it is not a good thing to be a rebel because rebels are not liked by others.
