When they finally hired a gardener to dig up the ground in front of the eight inches, none of them were expecting the sight in front of them. In the ground where there was supposed to be a damaged doll’s remains, all that they found, covered in dust, was a twelve-inch-long, pure white, perfect little human skeleton.
A raucous cry of a peacock made the narrator turn his head and at that very moment, Jayanto made a strange sound. The narrator saw that his eyes were bulging and a raised right hand was pointing at the hole in the ground, with a finger that was visibly trembling. The spade slipped from the gardener’s hand. As for the narrator, he, too, gaped at the ground, open mouthed at the sight of a twelve-inch-long, pure white, perfect little human skeleton.
