According to the poet, life is not just sweet dreams. It is full of hardships. Until a person does not face problems and troubles in his/her life, he will not be able to live it. When a child grows up, he faces challenges at every phase. He has to bear thirst and hunger, he has to face failures, he has to bear heart-breaks and so on. Hence the children should be ready to face the hardships of life and this will make them a mature human being.
