“Who he described” or “whom he described” which one is appropriate?

1 Answer

  1. “Who” is a subjective pronoun and is used when the pronoun is the subject of the verb. “Whom” is an objective pronoun and is used when the pronoun is the object of the verb. Usually we use whom he described. e.g.

    1. the culprit whom police described as dangerous has been caught.
    2. he is the same person whom I described during the meet.
