The poet Edward Lowbury has not followed a certain rhyme scheme in the poem. But, in the first stanza of the poem certain words rhyme with the other. For instance, look at the following lines
Kagwa hunted the lion,
Through bush and forest went his spear.
One day he found the skull of a man
And said to it, ‘How did you come here?’
In this stanza the word “lion” rhymes with “man”. In the same way, the word “spear” rhymes with the word “here”.
