A tutorial is an in-person presentation of a technique or concept. A workshop is a meeting where the presentation is made using multimedia, such as PowerPoint, Keynote, or video.
A workshop is usually an optional activity for participants to follow along with the presenter’s demonstration. The primary purpose of a workshop is to provide hands-on practice with the material being presented.
