    The poem The Snake Trying is an inspirational poem because it goes against the common human notion towards the snake i.e. “all the snakes are dangerous and poisonous”. In the poem, the person who is chasing the snake also seems to be believing in the same maxim. However the poet asks him to let the snake go.

    The poet describes the snake as a beautiful creature with elegant and charming look. According to the poet, the snake is green in colour and thus harmless, even too the children. However, the general of human beings towards the snake lead the man to kill it.

    We humans consider ourselves victim of snakes. However, the snakes themselves are the victims of our fear and wrath.
