The poet describes the snake as a beautiful creature with elegant and charming look. According to the poet, the snake is green in colour and thus harmless, even too the children. However, the general of human beings towards the snake lead the man to kill it.
We humans consider ourselves victim of snakes. However, the snakes themselves are the victims of our fear and wrath.
