Often we find that other activities (such as raising a family) get in the way of adult learning and cause parents to take on this educational responsibility. The point of teaching your child at home is usually because you do not care about what they know enough as opposed to those who teach them often do; those who genuinely care about educating their child want them as educated as possible, giving them all tools necessary.
