   • Abstract means something that is a conceptual representation of a person, place, or thing. For example, a memory, a thought, or a concept is an abstract because you cannot see it or touch it.
   • Concrete means something that is real, or existing in reality, not in thought or imagination. For example, a tree or a house is a concrete because you can see and touch it.
