A group of Sheep is called HERD, flock or drove. The word flock is also used for the congregation of birds, animals or humans. When sheep have kept in a farm the tract of land used for there feeding is called Ranch. Sheep are bred for wool and meat. There are 1000 species of sheep in the world.
