Dad and the Cat and the Tree is a funny poem in which the narrator shows the over-confidence of elders. A cat gets stuck in the tree and narrator’s dad goes to rescue it. He tries to climb on the tree but fails twice and falls down. Finally he climbs on the tree but gets stuck in it while cat comes down safely.
