In Sara Holbrook’s poem “Blueprints,” she reflects on her life and how it is shaped by her decisions. She muses that her life is like a blueprint that she is constantly designing and redesigning. She realizes that the choices she makes will have an effect on her life, and that each decision she makes is an opportunity to create something new. She also acknowledges that while some of her choices will lead to success, others will lead to failure. Ultimately, she concludes that she has the power to create her own destiny and that she will continue to work on her blueprint until she gets it right.
