In the poem The Trees, the poet is seeing writing long letters. However she hardly mentions the departure of trees and even why and what she is writing. Yet she is writing. It seems that she is in favour of the trees’ liberation but she is afraid to bring it in his words. So, she is just writing poems (perhaps about herself or about random things).
