“The Shed” poem has mainly the theme of rationality and courage. We learn from the poet that we must not believe in imagined and superstitions about ghosts and other supernatural things, because these stories are mainly used by people for their own benefit. In the poem, elder brother of the poet tells him that there is a ghost in the shed. This makes the poet fear and hence he does not go to the shed.
