Yellow is the main colour described in the poem The Laburnum Top. However it holds a lot of meanings. e.g. for the tree, yellow colour is its death (as its leaves are about to fall down). On the other hand, the yellow colour of the goldfinch bird makes it invisible and thus safe from danger. So, for the goldfinch, yellow colour is life.
On the whole, yellow colour depicts the beauty of nature. The rays of sun are yellow, the leaves on the ground are also yellow. It depicts a very beautiful picture of the laburnum tree and its vicinity.
