The poem “The Kite” is about the flying of a kite in the sky and its journey till it tangles in the wood and is torn away. In the poem, the poet explains how a kite goes into the air and keeps moving up and down due to the movement of the air. Finally when it tangles in the branches, it loses its brightness and beauty and looks like a torn cloth.
