The theme of the poem The Rebel is that rebels are an important part of our lives. They help us to see the things in a different way. They always depict different perspectives and hence bring colours to the society. Being a rebel we always stand out in the crowd. However we are not liked by others.
The poem describes the nature of a rebel in detail. A rebel always does just opposite of what others do around him. The rebel always behaves different from others. The poet tells that it is not good to be a rebel because rebel cause problems for others and is left alone but at the same time it is good because it is rebel who comes with the new ideas and has guts to stand against the society.
