The end of the story is an open ending. The author has given the pen to the readers to chalk out their own conclusions about the end. Fritz is dead and Jayanto had given him a proper burial but it is quite surprising to find the skeleton of a twelve-inch-long human. It leaves the reader with a question whether Fritz was really a toy or a boy.
