The central idea of the poem When I Set Out for Lyonnesse is poet’s journey which was difficult but turned out to be one of the most important journeys as it transformed him completely. He was in the dark when he set out for Lyonnesse. But when he came back, there was shine and magic in his eyes. He was totally reformed.
