In the first letter (which he wrote to God), he wrote that he suffered great loss because of heavy rainfall. His crops were destroyed. Now he needs money to feed himself and his family.
In the second letter (which he wrote after receiving the money), he wrote that he has received less money than what he asked for and he thinks that some of the amount was stolen by the employees working at the post office.
