Francis Bacon a famous philosopher of English as well as a scientist is known for his Baconian Method that challenged and rejected the Philosophy of Aristotle which according to some thinkers was hinderance in the way of scientific development.

Baconian Method used inductive reasoning to reach at facts & figures after attentive and careful study, experiment and observation of various events. This method led him to be known as the father of Scientific Method.

The method helped the scientists to move out of traditional beliefs and superstitions and rather focus on the facts to reach conclusions.
