   1. Metaphor: One stark example would be the phrase “Black love is Black wealth” where love is compared to wealth.
   2. Alliteration: A couple of examples would be “like living in Woodlawn” and “sells his stock”.
   3. Anaphora: One example would be the repetition of the word “your” in the lines “your biographers never understand/ your father’s pain as he sells his stock”.
