Velocity is to speed as displacement is to distance.
Reason: Speed is a scalar quantity. It is the rate at which an object covers distance. On the other hand, Velocity is a vector quantity. It is the rate at which an object changes its position. Similarly, Distance is a scalar quantity which shows how much ground an object has covered. On the other hand, displacement is a vector quantity that shows how far out of place an object is.
Hence like velocity is related to speed, displacement is related to distance.
