The study of fish is called ICHTHYLOGOY. ICHTHYS ( ikhthus means fish in Greek)- LOGOY (study), the humans start learning the ichthys since stone age to feed themself and know the important element of fish for their use. It is a branch of Zoology which study animal kingdom. Many old books mention the fish like the Old Testament.
