Frost has always depicted the relationship between human beings and Nature. The most natural of nature poetry is in this poem where the description of hills, farmlands, pine trees and apple orchards serve as a background to the action of humans. The poem underscores the importance and place of human beings in any landscape of Nature yet it also emphasises on the useless endeavours of animal instinct in them.
