Describe Macbeth and Macduff Relationship. 2Zeeshan Ali answered 3 months ago

Both Macbeth and Macduff are thanes who have pleaded allegiance to the king of Scotland, King Duncan. In truth, Macduff is the antithesis to Macbeth, a hero to the villainous Macbeth.
In the light of Duncan’s murder while staying at Macbeth’s castle changes their relationship from regard to mistrust. Macduff leaves Scotland to join with Malcolm, son of deceased king Duncan and encourages him to assume his father’s crown. Macbeth, on the other hand, assumes the crown himself and kills Banquo to cement his position. Following another visit to the evil witches, Macbeth kills Macduff’s family. The murder of his wife and son enrages Macduff who returns with Prince Malcolm to avenge their murder. In the end, he beheads his former ally Macbeth and restores order in the kingdom.
