However the son who is an adult now, does not talk to his father. In fact, the father says that they talk very like like strangers. Father is unable to understand why he behaves like this though he (father) himself taught him the way of life.
The son also seems to be a spendthrift. However father desires to forgive him for wasting his money because he wants to talk to his son. The father seems to be sad because the son is desiring to leave home.
In the end, the son finally breaks silence and tells his father that he cannot understand why he is behaving like that, he often gets angry. In spite of this, they are unable to fill the gap between them.

On the other hand, the children are often depressed and in chaos. Like their parents, they also fail to understand their elders and thus generation gap appears. Relationships are very delicate and difficult to maintain. It takes year to build them and a few moneys to destroy.
