Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word. It is pronounced as PNEUMONO – UTRA – MICROSCOPIC – SILICO – VOLCANO – CONIOSIS. Its meaning is a  lung disease caused by inhaling silica dust. It is commonly known as pneumoconiosis or silicosis. Labours working in the industry like construction, mining,  are affected by this disease due to the silica concentrations. Silicosis is characterized by shortness of breath, cough, fever and bluish skin.
