Everyday vs. Every day. What is the difference between “everyday” and “every day”?

1 Answer

  1. Both “everyday” and “every day” are correct and can be used in daily conversation. However there is a slight difference between their usage.

    1. Everyday is an adjective which means “ordinary” i.e. “frequent”. e.g. Going to school is an everyday activity.
    2. Every day, on the other hand, is an adverb which means “daily”. e.g. We go to school every day.
