The three witches in Macbeth are evil fortune tellers that use their supernatural abilities to persuade Macbeth into murder and bring much darkness and despair in the Scottish kingdom.
The witches are skinny with stubby fingers and draped into free-flowing garments, They are feminine but have beards that makes them a sense of dread and suspicion.
Even though their predictions come right, the witches are priestesses of doom . They manipulate people’s mind by suing tricks and dark arts and invite chaos, murder and instability as seen in the actions of King Macbeth.
